Job Overview

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) is the largest privately held provider of facility services in North America, servicing over 2 billion square feet of space daily. We are looking for an experienced Project Supervisor to lead and coordinate janitorial and facility maintenance projects across multiple locations.

Location: Lakeland, FL, US
Salary: $21.87 per hour (approx. $120,000 yearly)
Employment Type: Full‑time (30+ hrs per week)
Shifts Available: Overnight and morning 4 am

• Lead crew and perform janitorial project work at multiple locations within a defined geographic area.
• Support staffing coordination for projects, including communication of schedules.
• Perform floor surface and carpet cleaning; wash windows; execute minor wall repair.
• Gather and empty trash; service, clean, and supply restrooms.
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures; clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with appropriate cleaners.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment; move furniture, equipment, and supplies manually or with hand trucks.
• Follow all procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment.
• Monitor building security and safety by performing tasks such as locking doors after hours and checking electrical appliance use to prevent hazards.
• Track supplies and task/performance data; document and submit reports and supply orders.

• Excellent understanding of janitorial/building maintenance procedures and related safety requirements.
• Basic tool and machine maintenance including break/fix procedures.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and effective time‑management.
• Ability to resolve requests and concerns in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to manage work with and lead a team in a complex, task‑oriented operations environment.
• Ability to provide facilities escalation resolution promptly and efficiently.
• Ability to track supplies and performance data, document and submit reports.
• Ability to build rapport with customers and provide customer service.
• Proficiency in English; bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.
• Must use KBS Presence mobile timekeeping software for accurate work‑hour recording.
