Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Be the face of the resort and always offer courteous and professional service for all internal and external guests
• Maintain a steady work pace with fellow team members
• Perform routine maintenance of buildings such as fixing structural damage like window, door, wall repair, painting
• Repair leaks, minor plumbing issues, change water fixtures
• Grounds keeping and landscaping
• Operate landscaping equipment such as mower, weed-whacker/edger, chainsaw, blower
• Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment
• Handle basic minor repairs and maintenance
• Operate power equipment such as saws, sanders, drills
• Always follows all operational and safety procedures
• Assist in special projects as and when required

Required Skills & Abilities

• Skilled in the use of hand and power tools
• Ability to maintain focus while working individually
• Excellent organizational skills with a high level of accuracy
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build effective long-term relationships with both guests and employees
• Professional presentation and attitude
• A passion for teamwork and ‘can-do’ attitude
• Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license and complete a background check prior to beginning employment

Education & Experience

• Experience performing routine maintenance and landscaping
• Experience in facilities maintenance experience preferred but not required

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to work hands on with long periods walking and/or standing
• Must have the ability to lift 50 lbs.
