The Miscellaneous Laborer (ML) is responsible for performing routine housekeeping and cleaning throughout Southern Minnesota Beet Sugar Cooperative.

• Shoveling, sweeping, vacuuming floors; pressure washing screens; re‑melting sugar; removing garbage and other forms of manual labor for safe, efficient operations.
• Work in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments, cross‑train, and perform tasks such as beet and sugar clean‑up.
• Assist in tasks such as beet and sugar clean up.
• Perform other duties as directed and work overtime.

• Shovels, squeegees, water hoses, poke rods, brooms, wheelbarrows, forklifts and skid loaders.

• Respirator trained and fit tested.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds routinely throughout a 12‑hour shift.
• Knowledge of safe operation procedures, personal protective equipment, and quality standards.
• Complete all necessary training and Job Safety Analyses to operate equipment or perform position tasks.
