Job Summary

The Arc of Ocean County is seeking a part‑time Crew Chief to provide training, supervision, and support to individuals with disabilities employed on a cleaning crew. The role requires travel throughout Ocean County to meet the needs of various contracts.

Flexible schedule necessary. At least one weekend shift per week is required.

$21.75 per hour, bi‑weekly pay schedule. Flexible evening and weekend hours.

The crew chief will:

• Lead a group of individuals to various sites throughout the community for outside contracted cleaning services.
• Supervise individuals with disabilities employed through the cleaning service, ensuring tasks are performed to customer standards.
• Participate in janitorial tasks alongside the crew to ensure job completion up to the customer's standards.

Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred, not required.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid NJ Driver's License with no more than five points and the ability to drive and operate a 10‑to‑12 passenger van.
• Two years of janitorial experience, including stripping and waxing large floor areas.
• Must be able to pass a thorough state and federal background check screening.
• Education:
  
  High School Diploma or GED.
