Compensation: $23.27/hour

• As a Janitor with Tessera, you will perform a variety of cleaning tasks to include sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal.
• You will work directly with a teammate on an assigned route across Joint Base Lewis-McChord.
• Typical duties include Restroom Cleaning, Office Cleaning, Halls and High Traffic area Cleaning, Entrances and Exits Cleaning, Trash, Supply Restocking, Dusting, Stairwell Cleaning, Shower Cleaning, and maintaining a neat Janitorial Supply Closet/Locker.

• Must be able to communicate with others in a courteous and helpful way.
• Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have ability to work effectively under pressure and maintain stamina to perform assigned duties.

• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.
• Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also be required.
• Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.

• Valid state driver license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera’s insurance carrier.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access. A background check and E-Verify will be conducted for this position.
