Franklin & Marshall College is recruiting for a full-time Custodial Specialist.

* Approved hourly rate: $16.00/hour

Job Description:

The Custodial Specialist provides project cleaning services (stripping/waxing, buffing and extracting hard surfaces) throughout campus locations. They provide routine cleaning schedule support as needed, complete work orders and deliver all inventory supplies to buildings.

Essential Functions:

* Perform custodial project cleaning throughout campus facilities utilizing the following methods:
Stripping & Waxing VCT/Tile Flooring, Burnishing and Buffing Hard Surface Flooring, Carpet Shampoo, Extraction and Bonneting, Upholstery Cleaning, and Mold Remediation and Prevention.

* Provide support in routine cleaning schedule, emergency custodial needs on campus (floods/biohazards) and work orders.

* Deliver supplies and ensure all equipment used is properly checked in/out; properly cleaned and stored at the end of each shift. Provide minor maintenance of tools/equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.

* All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or equivalent.

* At least 1 year of relevant experience of project custodial experience - floor care/machine usage.

* At least 3 years of general custodial experience.

* Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

* Evidence of a commitment to community & belonging.

* Valid Driver's license.

* Successful interview.

* Successful completion of background checks.
