Maintenance Technician
Lancaster Behavioral Health Hospital (LBHH) is a 126-bed, inpatient psychiatric hospital and joint venture between Lancaster General Health/Penn Medicine and Universal Health Services. In addition to a general adult unit and dedicated adolescent unit, the facility offers services for treating those with co-occurring disorders on the psychiatric-medical unit, an intensive adult unit to care for those with severe conditions, as well as a women's trauma unit.
How will you make a difference at LBHH? Maintenance Techs maintain a safe, functional, physical environment for patients, employees, and guests. Maintenance Techs are responsible for completing the following duties and tasks:
- Oversee HVAC systems and operation using the Building Automation System.
- Assisting and managing HVAC contractors performing repairs and preventive maintenance.
- General repair, painting, and maintenance of building.
- Maintain grounds which includes the coordination of managing lawn care and snow removal contractors.
- Carry out routine carpentry and plumbing maintenance and repairs.
- Prepare facility for special functions, including setting up tables, chairs and equipment.
- Respond in a timely manner to alarms and codes in accordance with safety and security policies and procedures.
- Provide rotational weekly on-call coverage as designated by department director for the maintenance and environmental of care of the hospital.

Qualifications What Does LBHH Require for this Role?
Education:
High School Diploma/GED, trade school and/or industry certifications.
Experience:
5 years construction and/or Maintenance experience. Should be highly proficient in computer use.
