Position Description
Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time AGV Technician.
Warehouse positions pay weekly.
Compensation & Benefits- Hourly pay: $32.00 per hour
- Shift differential: $1.00 on night shift
- Schedule:
Wednesday to Saturday, 6 pm to 6 am, with overtime as needed - Monthly benefit:

- Vocational or technical certification in a related field or at least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of 480 volts and pneumatic equipment (intermediate).
- Working knowledge of computer‑based equipment maintenance and parts inventory systems (intermediate).
- Independent problem‑solving capability (intermediate).
- Experience with PLC and HMI programming (Allen Bradley, Ignition, Wonderware preferred) (intermediate).
- Understanding of 24 VDC control systems, photoelectric and proximity sensors (intermediate).
- Programming/troubleshooting of servo and stepper motors and related software (intermediate).
- Knowledge and troubleshooting of barcode scanners and vision systems such as Cognex, Datalogic, Keyence, etc. (intermediate).
- Familiarity with warehouse maintenance safety procedures including lock‑out/tag‑out, fall restraint, and MHE operational safety (intermediate).
- Operating material handling equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, etc. (intermediate).
- Ability to work independently in a safe manner, including at heights.
Some positions require additional screening: employment and education verification, motor vehicle records check, road test, and/or background/badging requirements from the customer.
Responsibilities- Ensure preventive maintenance entries are accurate and complete.
- Utilize the computerized maintenance management system to keep the department organized and to communicate with plant and corporate management.
- Maintain spare parts inventories and/or consignment inventories in accordance with procedures.
- Participate in continual development and improvement of maintenance policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized maintenance area; facility always tour‑ready.
- Ensure compliance with good manufacturing practices (GMPs).
- Establish work schedules that meet the demands of operating and preventive maintenance programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Actively participate in safety and lean programs and support the Ryder culture.
