SALARY: $21.38 minimum (260 days for full year); full benefits

SCHEDULE:

Daily work schedule: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, Monday - Friday

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required
• Job-related experience is desired
• Be able to follow instructions
• Ability to interact positively with students, teachers, parents, and others encountered in this role

• Significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling
• Frequent climbing and balancing
• Significant stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling
• Significant fine finger dexterity
• Be able to work around cleaners and chemicals
• Be able to work in the cold

The job of a custodian is done for the purpose of maintaining an attractive, sanitary, and safe facility for students, staff, and public; providing and arranging equipment and furniture, etc. for meetings, classroom activities and events; and ensuring that assigned tasks are completed in safe, proper and timely manner. This position will clean a specific area of a school; assist with snow removal;

operate various pieces of equipment; and perform similar tasks.
