Position: Program Assistant-Special Education (part-time)

Special Education Program Assistant

Prospect Heights School District 23 has openings for full-time (1.00 FTE) Special Education Program Assistants for the 2026-27 school year at to be determined schools. Salary for this position is dependent upon full-time years of experience in the same position starting at $22.63/hour and eligibility for full benefits and participation in the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF). Requirements:
Must have a valid Illinois Paraprofessional License (ELS (PARA)), SUB license or Professional Educator License (PEL). Additional qualifications include the ability to support a variety of student needs to take full advantage of classroom instruction and flexibility with job responsibilities.
