Every day, you provide hands-on technical and process support within our Operations Department to keep our automotive coatings running safely, reliably, and at peak quality.
What you’ll tackle
Diagnose and resolve equipment and process issues (including process control systems) to improve batch quality, reduce cost, enhance reliability, and advance quality initiatives.
Design and execute tests on new and existing production procedures; document outcomes and standardize best practices.
Organize and manage manufacturing workflows and resources to meet plan and reduce bottlenecks.
Optimize facility layouts, production lines, machine operations, and overall network performance for maximum throughput.
Remove roadblocks quickly—identify root causes of delays and restore flow.
Partner with engineers, contractors, and suppliers to deliver upgrades and improvements.
Ensure procedures meet safety and environmental regulations; champion compliance in daily operations.
Introduce technology upgrades that modernize systems and processes.
Lead and facilitate multiple efficiency initiatives from concept to realized, measured benefits.
Develop skills and deliver small-scale capital projects, from scope and vendor selection to startup.
Work with vendors to define specifications, procure equipment/materials/parts, and evaluate products against standards.
Collaborate with in-house maintenance and outside contractors to coordinate repairs and improvements.
Analyze space and workflow requirements; design equipment and workspace layouts for peak efficiency.
What you’ll bringB.S. in Chemical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline (required).3+ years of experience as a manufacturing engineer or in a comparable role (preferred).Exceptional organization and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously (required).Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) (preferred).Clear, confident written and verbal communication skills (preferred).Rewards & benefits
