Health Pro Heritage has a great Full-Time Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA) Opportunity at an Assisted Living Community in Lansing, IL! As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in this role, you will provide outpatient therapy services to adult residents of an Assisted Living Community. While patients live within the community, therapy is delivered in an onsite outpatient clinic setting.

Responsibilities- Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists. Provide direct patient care including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modality applications.
- Monitor and document patient progress, report observations to the Physical Therapist, and educate patients and families on treatment protocols, exercises, and self-care techniques.
- Accurately document patient treatments, progress, and responses in compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
- Work closely with Physical Therapists, other healthcare professionals, and support staff to ensure coordinated patient care and effective treatment outcomes.
- Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, or license eligible.
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
