Qualifications & Desired

Experience:

• Active Illinois Occupational Therapist certification and state license are required
• Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred, but motivated new graduates are welcome to apply

• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with students, families, and faculty
• Dedication to fostering growth, independence, and participation for students with diverse needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services for K-12 students, supporting IEP goals and functional success in the school environment
• Evaluate students needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including teachers, aides, and families
• Document progress, prepare reports, and participate in IEP meetings
• Adapt interventions as required, ensuring therapy is accessible and engaging for each student
• Contribute positively to district initiatives and professional development opportunities
