This position reports to the Director of Information Technology. The SAP Business Analyst is responsible for planning, designing, developing, and launching efficient business, financial, and operational systems to support core organizational functions and business processes for Nippon Paint Automotive Americas (NPAA).

• Analyze, design, develop, and implement SAP (Systems Applications and Products) software solutions.
• Define and document detailed IT SAP system, business, quality, functional, and/or security requirements and processes, consider recurring problems, determine and communicate potential solutions or changes, explain changes to processes, assist in modifying them, and implement software changes.
• Design and carry out system configuration changes, and coordinate all module and system integration testing.
• Administer, support, and maintain effective and quality system performance. Develop and translate business requirements into functional and specific business processes, technical requirements, and system configuration settings.
• Map current processes to the desired state, identify gaps, such as program functions, output requirements, input requirements and sources, data conversion strategies, and system techniques and controls.
• Determine how better processes, support systems, and technology can improve efficiency and competitive advantage. Support and optimize existing solutions, and provide operational support for all logistic modules of SAP.
• Monitor the application performance, and maintain systems by running scans and reconfiguring software as needed. Work with internal business teams, the SAP application service provider, vendors, and outsource partners to efficiently deliver and continuously improve application service and support.
• Ensure that all applications and networks are functional, secure, and run in accordance with legal guidelines.

• College diploma or university degree in computer science, computer information systems, or management information systems, and/or 3-5 years equivalent work experience.
• Specific experience based on the functional area:
  • Manufacturing: 3-5 years’ experience with SAP Manufacturing Management (MII, PP-PI, MM, MRP) solutions required.
  • Supply Chain: 3-5 years’ experience with SAP Warehouse, Supply Chain and Inventory Management (WM, IM) solutions required.
