General Maintenance

Overview

The General Maintenance completes assigned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance repairs.

$23.06 hourly rate. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

• Work directly with our clients, engineering leadership, and vendors to keep the building operational.
• Perform ongoing facility maintenance and complete repairs on various equipment.
• Perform minor repairs to Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEPs) equipment.
• Ensure client satisfaction.
• Proficient in Basic General Maintenance Duties.
• Solid knowledge and skill in the safe use of hand and power tools and other materials required to perform repair and maintenance tasks.
• Complete assigned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance repairs.
• Use the CMMS program in support of work performance. Foster a work environment that promotes energy conservation and continuous improvement of engineering functions.
• Perform basic routine MEP repairs.
• Assist with surface preparation and painting, minor drywall, and wood trim repair.
• Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
• Assist in emergencies as needed.
• Returns all work areas to a clean, neat, orderly, and safe condition.

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• No experience required and on the job training provided.
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required.
• Preferred: 1-3 years of similar work experience and/or trade school.
• Strong customer service orientation, and organizational/analytical skills.
• Ability to work extended periods of time without relief, when responding to priorities/emergencies.
