Facility Maintenance, Cleaning Services
The REO Town Venue Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming facility through routine custodial care, supply restocking, and light maintenance tasks. This role supports the ongoing readiness of the REO Town venue for ministry activities, events, and Sunday services while communicating facility needs to the Facilities Director. The position also provides Sunday service presence to ensure the building remains open, functional, and properly closed following services.

- Reliability: dependable and consistent in completing assigned custodial tasks, rotating between venues, and supporting event and service needs.

- Organization: ability to manage cleaning supplies, coordinate tasks with Venue Custodians, and maintain an organized approach while working across multiple venues.
- Strong Communication: ability to clearly communicate custodial observations, facility concerns, and task completion to the Facilities Director and team members.
- Hospitality Mindset: recognizes that facility cleanliness and readiness contribute to a welcoming environment for guests, congregation members, and staff.
- Cleaning and Sanitization
Skills:
proficiency in performing routine custodial cleaning using appropriate tools, products, and safety practices. - Time Management: ability to prioritize cleaning tasks and complete work efficiently while maintaining facility readiness for services and events.
- Problem-Solving: ability to recognize custodial or maintenance concerns and communicate them appropriately.
- Basic Maintenance
Skills:
ability to perform simple facility tasks such as replacing light bulbs or addressing minor issues while communicating larger maintenance needs. - Independent Work Ability: comfortable working independently and as a team to maintain facility cleanliness and address custodial needs throughout the week.
Work is primarily performed at the Riverview REO Town venue.
The position includes opening the building before Sunday services, remaining available during services for facility needs, and closing the building afterward.
Work hours may occasionally adjust to support building use, events, and periods of increased facility activity.
