Evening Cleaner at Surgical Center

Position

Purpose:

Responsible for thoroughly cleaning a specific area within a surgery center based off of Corporate Cleaning Group procedures.

Location:

Lansing, MI - Lake Lansing & Wood St

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 6pm- 9pm

Pay: $14/hr - Bi-Weekly pay via direct deposit

Building Type:
Surgical Center - Sterile/OR Cleaning

Job Responsibilities:

• Vacuuming with Backpack Vacuums and uprights
• Dry and wet mopping
• Trash Removal - CAPABLE OF LIFTING UP TO 50
  
  LBS
• Dusting
• Cleaning all areas of Restrooms
• Cleaning glass
• Wiping all surfaces in OR
• Restocking paper products and soap dispensers
• Understanding and accepting that inspections of your area will be conducted
• Correct any concerns or issues from an inspection ASAP.
• Turning off lights
• Locking and securing the facility at the end of the shift

Requirements:

• Willing to undergo Background check
• Must be 18 yrs or older
• Reliable transportation
• Must be able to lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs
• Team Oriented
• Have an excellent work ethic & eye for detail
• Must wear scrubs (will be provided)
• Comfortable working in a healthcare environment, including cleaning areas where blood or other bodily fluids may be present

Qualifications:

• Previous cleaning experience is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to follow cleaning instructions and work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Reliable and punctual
