Grounds Technician PT

Position Overview

Position Type: Part‑time (20 hours per week)

Pay Range: Starting at $20 per hour.

Location: Stadium North Lofts and Stadium North Senior Lofts, Lansing, MI.

Job Level: Minimum 1 year of related experience.

As a Grounds Technician, you will provide high quality service to residents and maintain the physical integrity of the community, ensuring a safe, secure, and comfortable living environment.

• Physically walks the property on a frequent basis and removes litter, debris and pet droppings from common grounds.
• Community/Welcome Center area.
• Pond area.
• Recreation areas.
• Grounds adjacent to the roads.
• Walkways to and from, and in-between buildings.
• Parking lots and drives.
• Performs “trash‑out” duties at vacated units, as needed – removing all abandoned furniture, etc.
• Details property on a regular basis.
• Performs routine maintenance on property as requested by Supervisor or Property Manager.
• Assists with various physical tasks as directed; e.g., tearing down fences, digging potholes, etc.
• Assists with “make‑ready” duties.
• Helps clean and maintain storage areas.
• Performs exterior painting duties when requested.
• Completes minor and routine service requests when requested by Supervisor or Property Manager.
• Distributes resident communications to residents (e.g., rakes, sweeps, shovels) as circumstances warrant.

• 1+ years of related experience.
