General Maintenance

Job Overview

The General Maintenance is responsible for completing assigned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance repairs. This role operates on the 2nd shift from 3 pm to 11:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

Pay: $23.06 per hour. Compensation may vary based on experience, skills, locality, and market data.

• Work directly with client engineers, leadership, and vendors to keep the building operational.
• Perform ongoing facility maintenance and complete repairs on various equipment.
• Perform minor repairs to Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP) equipment.
• Ensure client satisfaction.
• Proficient in basic general maintenance duties and safe use of hand and power tools.
• Use CMMS program to support work performance.
• Perform basic routine MEP repairs, assist with surface preparation and painting, minor drywall, and wood trim repair.
• Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
• Assist in emergencies as needed.
• Return all work areas to a clean, neat, orderly, and safe condition.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required.

Preferred: 1 to 3 years of similar work experience and/or trade school.

Strong customer service orientation and organizational/analytical skills.

Ability to work extended periods of time without relief when responding to priorities or emergencies.
