The General Maintenance completes assigned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance repairs.

Required:

* Must be 18 years of age or older

* No experience required and on the job training provided

* No high school diploma, GED or college degree required

Preferred:

* 1 to 3 year of similar work experience and or trade school.

Strong customer service orientation, and organizational/analytical skills.

* Ability to work extended periods of time without relief, when responding to priorities/emergencies.

* Work directly with our clients, engineering leadership, and vendors to keep the building operational.

* Perform ongoing facility maintenance and complete repairs on various equipment.

* Perform minor repairs to Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP's) equipment.

* Ensure client satisfaction.

MAJOR

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Proficient in Basic General Maintenance Duties

* Solid knowledge and skill in the safe use of hand and power tools and other materials required to perform repair and maintenance tasks.

* Complete assigned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance repairs.

* Use the CMMS program in support of work performance. Foster a work environment that promotes energy conservation and continuous improvement of engineering functions.

* Perform basic routine MEP repairs

* Assist with surface preparation and painting, minor drywall, and wood trim repair

* Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.

* Assists in emergencies as needed.

* Returns all work areas to a clean, neat, orderly, and safe condition.
