* Job Responsibilities:

*** Perform the tasks on the Housekeeping Checklist including daily, weekly, monthly, etc. assignments.
* Report when inventory of cleaning supplies/items are low and need to be reordered.
* Ensure boxes and other large items that need to be disposed of are taken to the compactor.
* Supports MAFACT activities as position requires.
* Trains employees new to position.
* Treats team members with dignity and respect and in accordance with the Magna Employee’s Charter and Core Values, which includes a commitment to fair treatment and a safe and healthful workplace.
* Support and participate in division and department improvement initiatives through Continuous Improvement Suggestion Program, and sharing of knowledge, ideas, and/or best practices with co-workers.
* Ensure that company policies and procedures are adhered to including IATF 2016:16949, ISO
14001 (EMS), Mafact and Employee Handbook.
* Follows MIOSHA and MPTSH safety regulations and policies, including wearing required P.P.E. (Personal Protective Equipment). Reports unsafe conditions to Supervisor/Leader.
* Complies with the designated ISO / 14001 responsibilities related to effective environmental management in accordance with MPT’s Environmental Management System (EMS).
** Minimum Requirements
*** Ability to mop, shovel, scrub and work with cleaning chemicals.
* Knowledge and compliance of safety procedures and policies.
* Team-oriented work approach.
* Ability to work overtime as required.
* Excellent attendance and performance record.
* Ability to work with others in a team environment.
* Demonstrates Core Values.
* Self-starter who is positive and professional.
