Work Schedule:

Monday‑Friday, 4:00 AM – 12:30 PM.
Pay ranges from $24.10 to $30.15 per hour, depending on experience.

• Maintain and promote the Tyson safety culture.
• Receive training as required.
• Perform various positions as required/assigned.
• Assist maintenance supervisor with personnel and equipment.
• Assign maintenance techs to equipment during process periods.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and breakdowns.
• Train maintenance techs on equipment.
• Utilize computer‑based PM program to track equipment maintenance.
• Fill in for absenteeism or assist in other areas of the plant.

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. General maintenance duties include keeping machinery running to maintain continuous production. You must be willing to set up, adjust, and break down production line machinery, learn Tyson SAP software to generate work orders and complete daily documentation, communicate effectively with team members, producers, USDA personnel, and drivers, and use math for machinery and fluid capacity calculations.

Physical requirements include lifting 70 lbs. periodically, standing on your feet for a period of 12 hours, and completing all required training. Applicants must not own, possess, or maintain any domestic, wild, or exotic fowl. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

• Minimum of (6) months documented mechanic work experience or graduation/student status in an industrial maintenance training program (combination of employers allowed).
• Accept rehires under a 180‑day waiting period and a 3x rule; rehire consideration requires a 180‑day wait period.
• Attendance points no more than 9.0.
• No more than 2 written warnings, or 1 written warning and 1 written warning with suspension, within the last 6 months.
• No successful job bid within the last 6 months unless newly established.
