Engineering Supervisor

ABM Industries is seeking an Engineering Supervisor to lead a team delivering safe, efficient facility operations across commercial, healthcare, education, and industrial sites. You will oversee building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety), manage preventive and corrective maintenance, and troubleshoot complex technical issues. Responsibilities include scheduling and training technicians, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, coordinating vendors, managing work orders and budgets, and partnering with clients to meet service standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and schedule engineering and maintenance technicians across assigned facilities.
• Oversee operation and maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems.
• Implement and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance programs using CMMS.
• Ensure adherence to all safety policies, codes, and regulatory requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex building systems issues.
• Coordinate and supervise outside contractors and vendors.
• Monitor budgets, parts inventory, and maintenance costs.
• Train, coach, and evaluate team members to support performance and growth.
• Partner with clients to understand needs and maintain service standards.
• Support continuous improvement of facility reliability and energy efficiency.
