Maintenance Technician

Wyo Tech is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities team. In this role, you will help ensure our campus remains safe, clean, and fully operational by performing preventive maintenance, repairs, and grounds maintenance across our facilities. The ideal candidate is hands-on, takes pride in delivering quality work, and enjoys solving problems in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Complete work and repair in a timely fashion
• Estimate time and extent of repairs
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on commercial buildings
• Perform general ground maintenance, snow removal, lawn mowing, weed control, etc
• Work with and/or oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary
• Help keep buildings in a clean, orderly and functional condition
• Other duties as assigned

Skills and Experience:

• Ability to be punctual for scheduled shifts
• Previous experience in maintenance, construction, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, welding, plumbing, or other related trades
• Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment including running snow removal equipment, skid steers, and scissor lifts
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Requirements:

Minimum Requirements (A combination of the following experience and training, or the equivalent of, would be qualifying):

• High school diploma or GED
