Salary: $16.94 hourly rate

This is moderately heavy manual work which involves routine housekeeping and domestic tasks in various buildings. Primary responsibilities include using proper methods and materials to clean and otherwise care for buildings and equipment. Work is performed under the general supervision of a Foreman.

Management Effectively manages assignments and priorities to ensure the fulfillment of projects, tasks, and responsibilities Follows suggested procedures to ensure the highest standards of risk management, employee safety, and risk avoidance

Technical Scrubs, mops, waxes, and polishes floors; vacuums, shampoos, and spot-cleans carpets Sweeps and cleans sidewalks, porches, and front entrances Changes trash and refuse containers; takes trash to specified locations for disposal Washes windows and woodwork Cleans tables in eating areas, kitchen areas, and cleans and polishes furniture Cleans and disinfects restrooms and fixtures, telephones, and water fountains Dusts shelves, wall hangings, blinds, fans, and light fixtures, and replaces light bulbs Performs minor repair work Sprays for bugs and other insects May move office furniture and equipment as directed Picks up debris around buildings Operates room dividers and adjusts seating
