Facilities Maintenance Technician; Warehouse in Mesilla Park

Job Summary

The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the warehouse facility, equipment, and infrastructure in safe, clean, and working condition. This role ensures minimal downtime by performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and completing repairs in a timely manner.

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on warehouse equipment and building systems
• Repair and maintain electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems
• Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and implement effective solutions
• Maintain conveyors, forklifts (basic support), dock doors, and racking systems
• Ensure lighting, fire safety equipment, and alarms are functioning properly
• Respond quickly to emergency maintenance requests
• Keep maintenance logs, work orders, and inventory of tools and spare parts
• Coordinate with external contractors and service providers when needed
• Follow all safety regulations and company policies
• Support general warehouse upkeep, including cleanliness and organization

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification)
• 1–3+ years of maintenance experience in a warehouse, industrial, or manufacturing environment
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  
  Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various physical conditions
• Ability to work Thursday - Sunday, 40 hours a week.

• Experience with conveyor systems and automated equipment
• Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Basic computer skills for maintenance tracking systems (CMMS)
• Welding or fabrication experience (a plus)

• Warehouse setting with exposure to noise, temperature changes, and machinery
• Requires standing, walking, climbing ladders, and lifting
