Description

The Associate is responsible for completing in‑store food and non‑food demonstrations, acquiring and maintaining knowledge of products, serving, demonstrating, intercepting consumers, and selling products in a professional manner. They also handle event execution equipment and maintain a professional appearance.

Responsibilities
  • Management and maintenance of event equipment and supplies to keep them clean and secured.
  • Communicate with store management about upcoming and past events when the Supervisor is absent.
  • Act as the point person for all events in the store and assist other Event Specialists with kits and materials.
  • Provide leadership and product knowledge to the team.
  • Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to consumers.
  • Perform all duties assigned to the demo program.
  • Communicate features and benefits of the product.
  • Prepare and serve food samples complying with food safety guidelines.
  • Use small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives to prepare samples.
  • Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation with cleaning chemicals.
  • Set up and prepare the event table for execution.
  • Complete all assigned work.
  • Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.
  • Build rapport with store personnel to meet company and client objectives.
  • File expense reports as per company policy.
  • Submit online requirements on the same day as event execution.
  • Takes digital photos of the Perfect Table Setup to document success stories.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • One to three months of related experience and/or training.
  • Proficient use of a personal computer and mobile device with internal systems.
  • Food Safety Professional Certification or local food handlers permit if required.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule up to 25 hours per week.
Physical Demands

Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach overhead, talk and hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, balance, lift up to 25 pounds (occasionally 50 pounds), push and pull a wheeled demonstration cart fully loaded, and handle cleaning supplies.

Compensation

Part‑time position, $14.00 - $15.00 per hour, 25 hours per week maximum.
