- Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM - FLSA Status:
Non-Exempt - Bargaining Unit: AFSCME (American Federation of State, County & Municipal Employees)
Provide custodial cleaning services to campus buildings, classrooms, offices, teaching labs, restrooms, and other common areas. Duties include sweeping, mopping, dusting, cleaning windows, restocking supplies, and maintaining safety and cleanliness standards across facilities.
Qualifications- High school diploma or higher degree required.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- No prior custodial experience required, but willingness to learn is essential.
Work involves exposure to unusual elements such as extreme temperatures, toxic chemicals, biohazardous materials, and loud noises. Physical activities include considerable cleaning tasks, heavy lifting, pushing or pulling up to 50 pounds, and a workload that is more than 70% physical.
