M1 Support Services is seeking a Maintenance Shift Supervisor to primarily provide oversight and report status of all scheduled and unscheduled aircraft and equipment maintenance, both on and off equipment, on assigned aircraft and equipment in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS), M1 policy, DAFI 21-101(and supplements), as well as industry standards. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Manage/track/report employees’ training status to Program Management. Coordinates with and provides the Production Supervisor employee job-specific and cross-utilization training shortfalls and priorities.
• Provides organizational management of aircraft hangars/work areas ensuring cleanliness, standardized maintenance discipline to include accurate aircraft forms documentation and aircraft status and proper tracking and inventory of aircraft parts.
• Manage/direct back shop scheduled and unscheduled maintenance events with Production Supervisor or DOM to ensure aircraft, tooling and SE remain mission capable in the quantities necessary to execute contractual requirements.
• Enforces strict adherence to AFI’s, technical data, engineering disposition(s), management procedures and company policy.
• Know, understand and comply with the requirements outlined in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
• Ensure aircraft and equipment forms and MIS documentation are completed and accurate in accordance with TO 00-20-1.
• Ensure aircraft status is accurately reflected in both the maintenance forms and the MIS.
• Analyzes back shop production processes to determine where improvements may be made.
• Assists DOM to analyze QA findings and ensuring solid corrective and preventive action plans are implemented and adhered to.
• Will be expected to manage employee timecards, administer employee discipline, provide oversight and ensure work center audit findings are managed/tracked/reported to Program Management and assist in coordination and management of Information Systems implementation, where needed. Additional responsibilities:
• Participate in developing and executing the monthly and weekly flying and maintenance schedules/plans.
• Manage the maintenance production effort by assigning priorities to meet the flying and maintenance schedules.
• Attends daily maintenance production/scheduling meetings and weekly scheduling meetings in accordance with the PWS.
• Fully understand and be prepared to implement specific disaster control plans pertaining to aircraft/SE movement and personnel evacuation.
• Determine/track/report aircraft status, inform MOC of the maintenance effort and coordinate with MOC, Flight line Expediter, and other site organizations for support.
• Authorize CANN actions; verify MICAP conditions exist; sign ER’s; verify NRTS conditions. Qualifications and
Experience:
• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 10 years hands on aircraft maintenance experience with at least 3 years supervisory experience and 3 years aircraft production experience. Minimum of 1 year in the last 3 on A-10, F-15, F-16, F-22, F-35.
• Must speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Must be able to work day shift, night shift or weekend duty and travel as part of a maintenance recovery team as required.
• Must deal with the customer and company employees in a courteous, professional and effective manner.
• Must be reliable, self-motivated, and able to deal with stressful situations and timelines while maintaining a professional and nonconfrontational attitude.
• Working knowledge of principles applying to aircraft systems, concepts and applications of maintenance directives, data reporting, and using technical data is mandatory.
• Knowledge of Air Force supply and efficiency reporting procedures is mandatory.
• Knowledge of the proper handling, use, and disposal of hazardous waste and materials is mandatory.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain the security clearance level as mandated by the government customer.
• Must possess a current valid U.S. Driver’s License.
