We’re looking to hire a hard-working and diligent team member for a janitorial cleaning position, one who can maintain the cleanliness and safety of commercial buildings where designated. You’ll be responsible for executing cleaning duties including: vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing and dusting, restocking supplies, removing trash, maintaining cleaning equipment, and maintaining knowledge of health and safety procedures. Training is a focal point for our team;

making sure all team members feel confident and comfortable is essential during training. The ideal candidate has a great work ethic, experience with cleaning equipment and supplies, highly aware, good decision making abilities, and takes pride in a job well done.

• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of buildings
• Perform standard janitorial duties including: vacuum carpets and floors, mop floors, clean and sanitize restrooms and common areas, restock supplies, and empty trash cans daily
• Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal of waste
• Be knowledgeable of cleaning procedures and chemical dilution
• Understand and be able to explain the importance of our role as the cleaning team
• After training is complete, must understand the difference of cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting
• Restock supplies in restrooms and common areas
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report any maintenance issues
• Follow cleaning procedures and health and safety regulations.

• Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent
• Willingness to undergo a background check and drug test as part of the hiring process.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Must be a hard worker with high attention to detail and have a strong work ethic
• Willingness to receive and apply constructive feedback
• At least 1 year of experience in janitorial services preferred
• Great attitude and being kind is a MUST
• Reliable and consistent transportation to and from the worksite
• Experience with standard cleaning supplies and cleaning equipment
