Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Summary
The Maintenance Team Leader is an aircraft technician who leads other technicians in their daily maintenance duties. This position also performs the duties of a Maintenance Technician and assumes the responsibilities of the Maintenance Supervisor when absent.

Minimum Requirements:
- Combination of education and experience considered; must be authorized to work in the US per the Immigration Act of 1986.
- Must pass a criminal background check.
- Education:
High School Diploma/GED - Certification:
Yes - Certifications required:
- A & P license
- Engine Run & Taxi (ERT)
- Airworthiness Release (AWR)
- SOJT - Train the trainer (SOJT-TtT)
- Minimum two (2) years aircraft heavy line maintenance experience.
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
- Must hold ERT, AWR, and SOJT-TtT qualifications.
Preferred Requirements:
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Word and Outlook email.
Job Duties:
- Oversee quality and quantity of work assignments.
- Review log books for open write-ups and currency of service checks.
- Ensure work is performed safely and in compliance with policies, manuals, and FAA regulations.
- Coordinate work with oncoming mechanics during shift changes.
- Ensure proper completion of paperwork, tags, and documentation for parts and work performed.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas.
- Provide on-the-job training and safety instructions.
- Keep certifications current.
- Report issues to Maintenance Supervisor that could cause delays.
- Ensure personnel are qualified for their duties.
- Optimize manpower utilization and improve procedures for efficiency.
- Continuously improve technical knowledge through study.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand, sit, hear, see, reach, kneel, climb, and operate tools. Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. Work in various environments, including noise, temperature fluctuations, and confined spaces. Ability to wear PPE and work various shifts. Some travel may be required.

Salary: $44.96 - $58.77 per hour, including base rate, incentives, and bonuses.
