Maintenance Supervisor - Las Vegas, Nevada
Multiple positions available within Las Vegas Valley
Pay Range: $26.00 to $39.00
OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance operations at a residential community in the Las Vegas area. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a blend of hands‑on technical work and team leadership. You will guide the maintenance team, oversee property upkeep, and ensure residents receive a safe, well‑maintained, and high‑quality living experience.
This position includes participation in a rotating on‑call schedule for after‑hours emergencies.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, train, and supervise the onsite maintenance team
- Assign work orders, manage daily schedules, and conduct performance reviews
- Foster a professional, team oriented environment
- Perform advanced hands‑on maintenance including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
- Ensure all work meets high quality and safety standards
- Manage the work order system from start to finish
- Coordinate and inspect the work of outside vendors
- Oversee the make‑ready process to ensure timely unit turnovers
- Assist with maintenance budget planning and cost control
- Maintain inventory and order supplies and parts as needed
- Conduct routine property inspections and address issues proactively
- Support resident satisfaction by responding to maintenance needs promptly
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Two to three years of experience in a maintenance supervisory role in a residential property setting
- Experience supervising one or more employees
- Advanced hands‑on knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
- EPA Universal Certification
- HVAC Certification required for Nevada
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to participate in a rotating on‑call schedule
- General computer skills for managing work orders and reporting
- Experience managing larger properties ranging from 200 to more than 750 units
- Experience supervising larger maintenance teams
