THE ROLETurf Crew members will help execute various flooring installations and logistics to help with the beautification of various venues and when needed assist with other scenic projects. This position will report to the Project manager and/or the Sr. Director. This is not a remote position.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Assist in the installation and strike of various turf projects
- Perform the load-in and out of department equipment and turf materials
- Properly use hand and power tools related to turf efficiently
- Follow directives on how each install should be handled as different methods may be needed
- Safely operate heavy equipment when needed
- All other projects and initiatives as identified
- Comply with company and OSHA safety regulations
- Operate and care for work areas in a safe, clean manner
- Ability to identify materials needed to complete a turf installation
- Project a professional image by working steadily, being a team player and being responsible for personal actions
- 1+ year(s) minimum turf installation experience
- Must possess a valid and current driver license
- Must possess a valid and current U.S. passport
- Ability to operate equipment such as forklift, and lull
- Ability to use hand tools, saws, etc. in a safe manner
- Must be highly motivated and possess interpersonal communication skills
- Working knowledge of web and mobile technologies as well as two-way radio
- Must possess working mobile device, preferably smart phone
- Must be able to lift and move objects weighing 50lbs or more
- Ability to move, lift, stand, and work for extended periods of 10-14 hours
- OSHA 10 required
- Must be willing to travel to work during holidays, evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines
- Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels and drastic temperature climates while working on site at various event location
