Job SummaryThe Maintenance Assistant supports the maintenance and upkeep of Ascension Academy's facilities and grounds.
This role involves assisting with various tasks to ensure a safe, functional, and attractive environment for students and staff. Responsibilities:
Assist with general maintenance tasks, such as repairs, painting, and landscaping. Perform minor repairs to buildings, equipment, and furniture. Maintain and care for the grounds, including mowing, watering, and weeding. Assist with setting up and taking down for events and activities. Ensure that safety equipment is in good working order. Assist with maintaining building systems, such as HVAC and plumbing.
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
Basic knowledge of maintenance and repair techniques. Ability to use hand and power tools. Ability to follow instructions and work independently. Good physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor. Reliability and punctuality. A positive attitude and willingness to work.
