Retail Maintenance Coordinator
Salary Range $12.00 - $16.00 Hourly Position Type Full Time
Job SummaryThe Retail Maintenance Coordinator supports day-to-day maintenance operations for retail locations by managing service tickets, coordinating with store teams, and assisting with vendor scheduling and documentation. This role focuses on ensuring maintenance issues are addressed efficiently, within established service level agreements (SLAs), and in alignment with budget guidelines.
This is an entry-level to early-career role ideal for candidates with strong organization, communication, and follow-through skills.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and manage maintenance tickets from creation through resolution
- Communicate with retail store teams remotely to verify maintenance needs and gather required details
- Coordinate with approved vendors to schedule service calls and confirm scope of work
- Ensure vendors understand work expectations, verification requirements, and SLA timelines
- Track service completion and assist with basic cost controls to remain within budget guidelines
- Maintain vendor documentation, including invoices and W-9 forms
- Support vendor relationships by providing clear communication and timely follow-up
- Update internal systems with accurate notes, statuses, and documentation
- Entry-level opportunity with exposure to retail operations and facilities coordination
- Clear growth path into senior coordinator or operations roles
- Supportive team environment with structured processes and training
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency (ticketing systems, email, spreadsheets)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable follow-through and attention to detail
- Previous experience in maintenance coordination, facilities support, retail operations, or administrative support
- Familiarity with service tickets, work orders, or vendor coordination
- Basic understanding of invoices or vendor documentation
- Primarily desk-based work
- Ability to sit for extended periods and work on a computer
- Occasional after-hours communication may be required for urgent maintenance issues
