Job SummaryMobile Repair Specialist who maintains U‑Haul’s fleet of trucks and trailers, ensuring vehicles are repaired quickly and safely using proprietary technology and tools.
Primary Responsibilities- Repair equipment using the appropriate tools to conform to U‑Haul standards.
- Perform work in a timely manner.
- Determine the causes of operating errors and decide what to do about them.
- Continue U‑Haul equipment education.
- Establish an effective route in the assigned area to repair all down or inoperable equipment and ensure that all equipment has been repaired or scheduled for repair.
- Maintain inventory of all repair parts and ensure that all parts used are charged out.
- Team members are expected to lend assistance in additional areas as necessary, following the directives and guidance of their supervisor.
- Self‑starter.

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts requiring special safety precautions, such as working around moving parts, machines, fumes, or chemicals. Protective clothing or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields may be required.
Physical DemandsThe job requires some physical exertion: long periods indoors and outdoors while remaining stationary, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs., assisted or unassisted.
