Facility Maintenance

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of facility systems including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, building equipment, and refrigeration/freezers.
• Monitor subcontractors to ensure work meets guidelines and guarantees.
• Work within departmental budget, knowing equipment, products, and priorities.
• Paint, tile, sheetrock, and clean dish machines, vents, traps & screens, and HVAC equipment; change filters, light bulbs, and batteries.
• Assist with light mechanical duties related to fleet maintenance.
• Perform other duties as assigned related to facility maintenance.

• Technical school, advanced schooling, certification, or apprenticeship training desired.
• Demonstrated mechanical and handy repair aptitude.
• At least 5 years documented relatable work history.
• Knowledge of maintenance shop equipment.
• Ability to take instruction and work independently or as part of a team.
• Effective multi‑tasking and time‑management skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures; lift/push 75+ pounds occasionally, 50+ pounds frequently, 25+ pounds consistently; bend, stoop, reach, climb, twist repeatedly; stand/walk 8–12 hours per day.
