Position Summary
The Maintenance Assistant plays a key role in ensuring that our grounds exceed the expectations of our patients and their families while they are in our care. This is a part‑time position (20 hours per week). The role includes overall safety, appearance, and maintenance of the facility in compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and Local requirements.
Posted Salary Range$18.00 - $19.50 per hour.
Wage CommensurationThe wage range for this role takes into account a variety of factors, including skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
Duties & Responsibilities- Assist the Maintenance Director with overall safety, appearance, and maintenance of the facility in accordance with all applicable Federal, State, and Local requirements.
- Participate in painting, light carpentry, electrical, plumbing, grounds maintenance, and preventative maintenance.
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent GED required.
- Knowledgeable about various mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems; HVAC certification a plus.
- Knowledge of safety regulations required.
- Reliable source of transportation and a valid driver’s license required.
- Maintenance experience preferred, especially in a healthcare facility.
