Job Description

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for Custodial Worker 1, Facilities Management [R0153422].

Custodial workers provide general building maintenance services for assigned facilities consisting of offices, classrooms, conference areas, special event centers and other facilities.

This position is required to work a non-standard work week*. Main Shift (most custodians): 6:00pm to 2:30am Monday night through Saturday morning. Library Crew:
Monday
-Sunday 7:30 pm to 4:00 am including weekends. Days off will be during the week. Weekend Crew:
Monday
- Friday they will work 6:00 pm to 2:30 AM and on Saturday and Sunday they will work 7:30 pm to 4:00 AM
* Candidates could be expected to work any of these shifts, based on current or future vacancies.*

Minimum Qualifications Per Executive Order , ALL MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS HAVE BEEN WAIVED FOR THIS POSITION UNTIL DECEMBER 31, 2026. Please refer to the link for more information:

Preferred Qualifications Graduation from high school or equivalent education and six months of custodial or janitorial experience in a commercial, industrial, hospital, governmental or similar environment.

Salary

Grade 21, Step 1, salary $38,419.20.
