About the Role Our organization is seeking a Custodian/Cleaner to keep our facilities clean, safe, and well maintained. As Custodian, you are responsible for keeping our treatment facility clean, safe, and welcoming for the clients who live and recover here and the staff who support them. You will handle the daily upkeep of the building, including floors, surfaces, restrooms, windows, and common areas, and keep shared spaces stocked with the supplies clients and staff rely on.
This is a hands-on role with real impact. A clean, orderly environment is part of the care we provide, and you will be the person who makes sure it stays that way every day.
- Sweep and mop floors.
- Clean buildings by emptying trash and cleaning all surfaces.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
- Clean and service restrooms with mops and disinfectants.
- Perform laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and properly storing or distributing linens, towels, and other facility items.
- Provide transportation for guests and/or facility-related needs as assigned, while following all company vehicle and safety requirements.
- Identify and report possible repairs to management.
- Supply and maintain common areas and restrooms with necessary items.
- Follow all safety and personnel rules and regulations.
- Perform other custodial duties, as assigned.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Possess a valid driver's license.
- Pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
