Position Summary
SUMMARY :
This position is responsible for maintaining a clean and sterile environment for assigned areas.
Duties and Responsibilities
Vacuuming, sweeping, and emptying trash receptacles;
Cleans fixtures, blinds, pictures, shelves, drapes and ashtrays;
Wash windows, restrooms and kitchenettes, employee lounges, porches, entryways, walls, doors, and windows as needed;
Move furniture;
Refills toilet supplies in restrooms and hand sanitizer units as needed;
Shampoo carpets, strips and waxes floors, as required;
Shovels snow in entryways as required;
Mop floors on a regular basis;
Serves on an on-call list to assist with emergency cleanups;
Maintain regular attendance;
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications
Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, holidays, odd hours, and emergency calls.
Must be able to speak and write in English.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instruction;
Knowledge in properly handling hazardous chemicals and materials;
Knowledge in proper cleaning techniques;
Ability to use a ladder and operate cleaning equipment (burnishes, buffers, etc.);
Knowledge of safety procedures;
Ability to read and write effectively.

Pay Rate
Pay Rate $15.00 Hr.
