Janitorial Worker
The Janitorial Worker is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the production area, ensuring a sanitary and clutter-free environment throughout the facility.
Responsibilities- Perform general housekeeping duties in the production area.
- Operate power scrubber to clean floors.
- Ensure restrooms are kept in an orderly and sanitary condition.
- Remove trash from various receptacles and transport it to the dumpster.
- Maintain production aisles and areaways free of clutter.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
- Proficiency in cleaning and janitorial tasks.
- Experience with production environments is advantageous.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Skills & Qualifications
- Physical capability to spend extended time on feet.
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination with hand/power tools.
- Capability to perform frequent stooping, bending, walking, carrying, and lifting.
- Ability to work off ladders, scaffolding, and scissors lifts.
- Experience in pushing and pulling carts, requiring a force of up to 50 pounds.

Work EnvironmentThe work environment involves extensive walking and manual labor, including lifting and carrying tasks. Janitorial workers use various cleaning equipment and tools, often working off ladders and lifts, in a production setting that prioritizes safety and cleanliness.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Lawrence, KS.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
