ResponsibilitiesThe lead custodian supports the staff and students of USD 232 by providing a safe, clean, operational, and productive learning environment with a customer service mindset. To accomplish these tasks, the lead custodian must work closely with the staff and administration of USD 232.
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent
- Job related experience with increasing levels of responsibility desired
- Ability to read chemical labels
- Ability to work independently without supervision
- Must be available to work some weekends
- Completion of a clear criminal background check
- Current Certification of Health, including negative TB test on file in district office
- Must pass standard strength and agility test

CompensationStarting Salary: $21.14/hour (commensurate with experience)
Requirements- All employees must have a current TB test. If you have a recent TB test (less than 12 months), a copy of the results is acceptable. If it has been more than 1 year, a new test is required. Employees are responsible for the cost of the test.
- Must pass standardized strength & agility testing requiring lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Must submit pre-employment physical prior to first day of work.
