Janitorial Worker
The Janitorial Worker is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order throughout the production facility to ensure a safe, sanitary, and organized work environment.
Responsibilities- Perform general housekeeping duties throughout the production area.
- Operate floor-cleaning equipment, including power scrubbers.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms.
- Remove trash from designated receptacles and transport it to the dumpster.
- Keep production aisles and work areas clean and free of clutter.
- Complete additional duties as assigned.
- Previous janitorial, housekeeping, or cleaning experience preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is a plus.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean workplace.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Frequent bending, stooping, lifting, and carrying.
- Comfortable using cleaning equipment and tools.
- Ability to safely work on ladders, scaffolding, and scissor lifts when required.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

This position is based in a production facility and involves extensive walking, lifting, and general physical activity. Employees use professional cleaning equipment and tools while helping maintain a safe, clean, and organized workplace for all team members.

This is a Contract position based out of Lawrence, KS.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
