Perform general housekeeping tasks to maintain the facility and buildings in a sanitary, safe, and attractive condition per hospital and Joint Commission standards;
Clean and disinfect assigned areas using department cleaning procedures;
Use cleaning chemicals properly according to Joint Commission and OSHA standards;
Follow infection prevention practices including hand hygiene and standard & isolation precautions and proper PPE donning and doffing;
Dispose of infectious waste and trash properly and safely;
Maintain work and storage areas following established policy and procedures to ensure safety
