Status: Full-Time, Hourly
Reports to: Harbor Master with direct reporting relationship to Manager, Marina
Do you enjoy working outdoors, helping people, and taking pride in keeping a property safe, clean, and welcoming? Join our close-knit marina team as a Maintenance Fuel/Pier Technician. In this hands‑on role, you will support marina tenants and fuel customers, operate the fuel pier, maintain the docks and grounds, and help create a positive experience for everyone who visits the marina.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Provide friendly, professional service to marina tenants and fuel customers
- Operate the cash register, maintain accurate sales records, and complete daily deposits
- Keep the fuel pier, docks, grounds, restrooms, and showers clean and well maintained
- Inspect docks and property, report concerns, and complete basic upkeep such as replacing lights and draining water from fuel-pump filters
- Monitor fuel-pier stock and help coordinate weekly deliveries
- Follow marina and boating safety requirements and report policy violations or maintenance needs
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Active driver’s license with a clear driving record, as you will drive company vehicles when applicable
- Ability to successfully pass a background screening
- Availability to work weekends and holidays
- Strong customer service skills, reliability, and a demonstrated work ethic
- Comfort working outdoors, completing cleaning duties, and adapting to changing weather and operational needs
- Ability to work independently after training and represent the company professionally
- Marina operations experience, boating knowledge, cash‑handling experience, or basic mechanical aptitude is strongly preferred
This is a full-time, on‑site position with year‑round weekend availability. The busy‑season schedule is typically four 10‑hour shifts, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with Monday through Wednesday off. Winter hours are generally 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; schedules may be adjusted to support weekend coverage. The role includes occasional stooping, bending, reaching, and light lifting.
