Hallbrook Country Club is seeking a dependable and service-oriented Facilities & Technology Technician I with experience in Audio Visual (AV) and Information Technology (IT) support. This position is responsible for maintaining club facilities, supporting technology systems, and ensuring audiovisual equipment is operating properly for member events, meetings, and daily operations.
The ideal candidate is hands‑on, proactive, and comfortable troubleshooting a wide variety of facility, AV, and technology‑related issues in a hospitality‑focused environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance throughout Club facilities, grounds, and equipment.
- Provide first‑level IT support for Club staff, including computers, printers, phones, tablets, Wi‑Fi connectivity, and network‑connected devices.
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot audiovisual equipment for meetings, banquets, and internal staff functions.
- Assist with installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of televisions, sound systems, projectors, digital displays, conference room technology, and other technology systems throughout the Club.
- Respond promptly to facility maintenance requests and technology‑related service calls, ensuring minimal disruption to Club operations.
- Support the maintenance and basic administration of Club technology infrastructure, including user accounts, hardware deployment, software updates, and peripheral devices.
- Conduct routine inspections of building systems, equipment, and technology assets to identify maintenance or performance issues.
- Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies, technology equipment, audiovisual assets, and related parts.
- Ensure all work areas, equipment rooms, and storage spaces remain clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Assist with facility improvement projects, technology upgrades, and special assignments that enhance Club operations and member experience.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Previous facilities maintenance, AV, or IT support experience required.
- Working knowledge of audiovisual systems, including microphones, speakers, projectors, and presentation equipment.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, networking, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with facility maintenance, electrical, plumbing, painting, or carpentry is preferred.
- Strong problem‑solving and customer service skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work including standing, bending, climbing ladders, and moving equipment.
- Availability to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays based on club events and operational needs.
