Electronics Warehouse Technician

Overview

Performs tasks associated with the testing, diagnosing, repair, and/or refurbishment of mobility products (Toughbooks & Toughpads). This includes disassembling (taking apart) and reassembling components after repairing or replacing parts.

Essential Job Functions:

• Perform various deployment job duties such as memory upgrades, logo badge installation, asset tagging,
• hardware diagnostics, kitting, etc.
• Use computer-based systems to enter/record required data
• Receive/process product from vendors and/or customers
• Maintain accurate inventory records
• Stock incoming inventory
• Arrange for delivery or shipment of deployment products as required
• Conduct periodic inventory audits and resolve discrepancies
• Perform quality inspection of all completed processes
• Maintain the deployment department in clean and orderly manner
• Miscellaneous daily tasks including shipping support and clean-up activities
• May be required to assist in other departments on an as-needed-basis
• Other duties as assigned

• Must possess basic knowledge of electronic parts such as hard drive, memory, ac adapter, etc.
• Ability to view and handle numerous components while working in a fast-paced environment
• Possess good organizational and decision-making skills
• Ability to read and interpret parts diagrams and technical manuals
• Effective communication skills
• Detail-oriented
• Working knowledge of Windows
• Ability to learn new applications and programs
• Must be able to lift and/or move objects with a weight of 20 to 70 lbs
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

The wage range of $15.00- $17.00 is just onecomponentof Panasonic’s total package. Actual compensation varies depending on the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, and location. The minimum hourly wage for this role will be the greater of the posted range, or minimum wage for the location where the employee will be working, subject to local minimum wage requirements.
