Your role as a Maintenance Supervisor
Key responsibilities and expectations for this role include supervising the maintenance and sanitation team at our warehouse, overseeing preventative maintenance and repairs for all equipment, ensuring equipment is used and maintained according to supplier guidelines, and leading sanitation efforts to maintain a professional culture and safety standards.
The role requires direct supervision of daily functions, use of Fiix CMMS software, training and development of team members, and collaboration with equipment suppliers and contractors. The Maintenance Supervisor must also meet KPIs, manage budgets, and maintain comprehensive reporting for the Site Manager.
Roles and Responsibilities- Ensure all equipment is used and maintained in line with supplier guidelines, including conveyors, cranes, cooling systems, fire protection, freeze doors, oxygen reduction, and other installations.
- Create and plan preventive maintenance tasks or repairs to be carried out safely and on time, minimizing disruption to operations.
- Work within budgeted guidelines and achieve agreed KPIs.
- Follow maintenance plans efficiently to minimise impact on operation while meeting supplier guidelines.
- Direct and lead sanitation team to maintain site cleanliness and appearance.
- Complete work safely and timely.
- Work closely with equipment suppliers/contractors to ensure proper training of maintenance technicians.
- Complete internal reporting and communication as required by Site Manager.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of all equipment and contracts on site (e.g., cooling systems, oxygen reduction, doors).
- Commit to ongoing self and team development through internal and external resources.
- Meet physical demands of Maintenance and Operator team roles.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements- 8‑10+ years of maintenance experience.
- 1‑2 years of team lead or supervision experience.
- Strong knowledge of troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of automated machinery (conveyors, automated cranes, palletizers, trolleys).
- Electrical, mechanical, or electromechanical knowledge.
- Knowledge of PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens).
- Associate’s degree preferred but not required.
