Custodian

Boone Power is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Custodian to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout our two-story headquarters and campus facilities. This position plays an important role in ensuring our employees, visitors, and stakeholders have a facility that is sanitary, well-maintained, organized, and ready for daily operations.

The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, has a strong attention to detail, and can work independently while providing professional and courteous service to employees, visitors, contractors, and other members of the organization.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3-5 years of custodial, janitorial, or facilities experience preferred.

Technical & Job Skills

• Ability to safely operate common cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and related tools.
• Basic understanding of cleaning products and chemical safety.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Ability to perform routine cleaning and custodial duties throughout a two-story facility.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and lift as required to perform essential job functions.
• Ability to safely operate custodial equipment and handle cleaning products.
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors as required.
• Ability to assist with seasonal campus maintenance activities and event setup.
